Frequently Asked Questions

  • When and where is A Taste of Chamblee taking place?
    A Taste of Chamblee is occurring on Saturday, October 19th from 3:00 - 8:00pm in Downtown Chamblee right in front of the new City Hall located at 3518 Broad Street, Chamblee 30341.
  • Where can I park?
    Parking is available around City Hall along various streets and parking lots. We highly encourage taking MARTA or utilizing Lyft or Uber to get to the event. An Uber voucher is available for drop off and pick up from our Rideshare park located at 5374 Peachtree Road, Chamblee 30341: https://r.uber.com/rDPDp3ye0Fw A free shuttle will also be provided from the Chamblee Middle School parking lot from 2:00pm - 9:00pm Winter Construction's parking lot, located at 5616 Peachtree Road, will also be available and is just a short walk from the event!
  • Does Taste cost anything to attend?
    No! Taste of Chamblee is free to attend, but if you'd like to purchase food or beverages from our vendors, you can pay with cashless options including credit or debit card, Apple or Google Pay.
  • Will there be any other activities going on?
    Yes! We have a small kid's zone with inflatables as well as two giant screens that will be playing some football games, as well as a "Wine Down Tent" where a variety of bands will be playing. This year, we are also adding in the "End Zone" area which is an inflatable area for the young at heart! This area will be located in the old City Hall parking lot.
  • How do I become a Vendor?
    Great question! Food and Beverage Vendor applications are available HERE. The cost is $100 to be a vendor at the event, but we provide the tent, tables, chairs, and a banner for each vendor. This year, we are adding in a new vendor category - crafts! If you are an arts and crafts (or similar) vendor, please apply HERE All applicants will be reviewed to ensure original products.
  • How do I become a Sponsor?
    We love our sponsors! To become a sponsor, please fill out the application HERE. Applications are also available to be emailed if you'd prefer that. If so, please email Ksears@chambleega.gov
  • What kind of food and beverages will be available for purchase?
    A Taste of Chamblee is all about promoting not only Chamblee restaurants, but nearby restaurants as well! Be sure to check out the "Vendors" page for more information about the participating restaurants! A map will also be available for view in the near future.
  • What items can I bring to Taste?
    Thank you for asking! The below items are not allowed at Taste of Chamblee: 1. Coolers larger than 30 quarts 2. Outside alcoholic beverages 3. Fireworks, explosives, or other combustible items 4. Glass containers 5. Personal motor vehicles 6. Drones or aircrafts 7. Tents or canopies 8. Laser pointers 9. Unauthorized solicitation materials (fliers, handbills, samples, etc.) There will be tables and chairs available for you to utilize while enjoying your various food and beverages. Also, we love your dog friends but keep in mind this will be a crowded event so if your pup doesn't enjoy crowds, this may not be the event for them.
  • What if it rains?
    A Taste of Chamblee is a rain or shine event, so we encourage you to bring rain jackets and umbrellas if rain is in the forecast. In the case of inclement weather, we will post updates to our social media pages.
  • Can I bring my dog to Taste?
    Yes! Dogs are welcome, but please note there will be dogs from Lifeline also present and walking around looking for their future home. There are also a lot of people and other dogs present, so be mindful of that when bringing your pup.
