Bad daddy's burger bar
Let’s talk not-so-humble beginnings. As in, the beginning of Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. The place was Charlotte, NC. The year was 2007. That’s when the doors opened on the very first Bad Daddy’s. Now, when we say not-so-humble, we’re not saying the whole world changed that day. But we are saying the restaurant game got a pretty good shaking up in North Carolina. The five-star reviews and the customer lines out the door were instant proof of that.
Who knew back then what this passionate burger and beer place would become? Well, to be honest, we did. (OK, that’s the not-so-humble part.) Because we were doing things differently in every way from the very start. Using only the very best and very freshest ingredients. Pushing culinary boundaries by combining them in outrageous ways to make burgers and salads like no one had ever seen - or eaten - before. Heck, why make just a bacon cheeseburger when you can make a Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids? And, ultimately, creating a place where guests feel like they can fully be themselves – laid back and comfortable – while being served by a team that genuinely loves having them in the house.
Clearly, since those early days, we’ve gotten lots bigger. Today, you can come across a Bad Daddy’s in quite a few cities and towns across the country, each one true to our southern roots and our uncompromising spirit for doing everything better, big and small, wherever we can. Whether pouring a Bad Daddy’s IPA to a long-time customer or crafting up a Bad Ass Burger & a Bad Ass Margarita for a first-timer, we always go all-in to impress.
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bars are not everywhere, of course, and we don’t plan to be. But if you’ve got to work a bit to find our outrageous burgers, giant chopped salads, hand-selected craft beers & signature cocktails, it just makes them taste all the better the way we see it.
Come experience Bad Daddy's for yourself. We’ve got a table waiting for you and yours. And if there’s a line out the door? Well, I guess that means you’ve found a pretty special place to eat, now doesn’t it?
